As the Erasmus+ ANALYST project approaches its conclusion, the final months have marked the culmination of a journey from online education to real-world intelligence work. This fourth newsletter celebrates the project’s milestones, following the success of the MOOC and the International Summer School.

The project has successfully bridged the gap between academic theory and operational reality, preparing participants to navigate today’s complex security landscape.

Highlights from this Edition

  • Internship Success: Five outstanding participants completed three-month internships at Hozint, gaining hands-on experience in real-time situational reporting and OSINT analysis.
  • Brussels Conference: On November 28, over 80 experts, practitioners, and policymakers gathered to examine the evolving role of the intelligence analyst.
  • ANALYST by the Numbers: The project achieved significant reach with 800+ registered MOOC users, 300+ certificates awarded, and the establishment of a dedicated EU Network.
  • Impactful Testimony: Interns reported that the program provided the professional competencies and confidence needed to launch their careers in intelligence.

A Lasting Legacy: The European Intelligence Analyst Network

One of the project’s most significant legacies is the establishment of the European Intelligence Analyst Network, launched in December 2025. This network aims to foster collaboration, connect academia with industry, and promote innovation in analysis methodologies across Europe.
