As the Erasmus+ ANALYST project enters its final stages, we have shifted from theoretical learning to intensive, hands-on experience. This third newsletter highlights our recent transition from the successful MOOC—which engaged over 500 participants—to professional intelligence training in the field.
From July 7 to 11, the SIAF training center in Volterra, Italy, hosted our 5-day International Summer School. Selected students and professionals from Italy, Greece, and Spain formed multinational units to tackle complex, real-world challenges under expert guidance
Highlights from this Edition
- Multinational Collaboration: Participants were organized into multinational teams to simulate professional intelligence units.
- Skill Enhancement: The curriculum focused on enhancing practical OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) and HUMINT (Human Intelligence) skills.
- Realistic Scenarios: Teams tackled complex geopolitical scenarios, specifically advising a company investing in the Arctic region.
- Strategic Analysis: Under expert guidance, participants classified risks and made data-driven decisions based on real-time analysis.
- Career Opportunities: The most promising participants will now have the opportunity to continue their journey with internships starting in September
What’s Next?
While the Summer School was underway, project partners held the 4th Transnational Project Meeting to coordinate the final milestones. We are now preparing for the International ANALYST Conference in Brussels this late November.
