About the project
Within the increasing complexities within our multipolar society, there is a growing demand for proficient professionals in researching and analyzing diverse quantitative and qualitative data sources. This expertise is vital in supporting informed decision-making processes across various sectors, including government and politics, technology and engineering, environmental management and diverse social services. In response to these demands, ANALYST will produce high-quality educational materials tailored to cultivate specific knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for intelligence and strategic planning.
Objectives:
- Enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing across Europe
- Elevate the role of intelligence, security, and strategic planning
- Develop a comprehensive profile for intelligence analysts
- Shape tailored training programs to meet labor market demands, integrating professional tools for hands-on experience
- Establish a European Intelligence Analyst Network
Activities
- Transnational Research and Intelligence Analyst Job Profile
- Identify the main knowledge, skills and aptitudes that an intelligent analyst should possess to properly perform his role and create an impact in the evolving society.
- Intelligence Analyst Training programme and MOOC
- Design an innovative training programme consisting of theoretical classes and practical training. The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) will be designed to offer dynamic learning for high-quality intelligence analysis researchers.
- Summer School and Internship programme
- 5-days of a unique training initiative aimed at bridging the persistent skills gap between theoretical training, and simulated risk scenarios. The courses focus on understanding vulnerabilities and risk probabilities; strategic information management and data collection and analysis.
- In order to provide intelligence analysts with opportunities to achieve employment-related competencies in the workplace, we offer a-three-month-period of internship in each participant country under the supervision of Hozint. The internship experience is primarily intended as an effective education-to-work transition mechanism that will allow young Intelligence analysts to facilitate their adaptation from education to employment.
- Dissemination and international ANALYST conference
- The project will provide an intellectual community in the form of an European Intelligence Analyst Network around intelligence analysts’ profile and the capability approach to relate relevant ideas to the policy arena.
- ANALYST will launch an Annual Intelligence Conference encouraging cooperation among professionals, exchanging shared activities and best practices with multidisciplinary sectors and stakeholders, in the field of research ranging from economics to philosophy, international development, health,education, law, government, sociology, and more.
